Reading- This week we will be doing a few fun creative writing assignments!  We will also be learning to identify and use vivid verbs in our sentences. We are beginning Unit 3, Lesson 1. There will not be a reading or spelling test this week.

 

 

Math- This week we are working on adding and subtracting mixed numbers, simplifying fractions and problem solving.  This is the largest unit of study for fourth grade!  Students will learn to use scientific calculators to guide them in their learning.

 

Please remember to send in items for our Chinese auction baskets!  We are doing a candy basket and a school supplies basket! Valentine's Day party on Friday!
