The Reynolds School District will return to Live Online Learning for all students beginning on December 1st. All students should return to the 5-day live online lessons schedule that was in place at the beginning of this school year. All Mercer County Career Center students will continue their Career center schedule as it is now.
This decision is unavoidable. Mercer County just completed its third week of substantial community transmission and cases continue to rise. Under these conditions, the Department of Health recommends full virtual instruction to mitigate the spread of the virus. Even without this guidance, the growing number of staff members that are subject to quarantine restrictions and limited substitute teachers makes it impossible for the District to continue to provide in-person instruction.
The District will continue to monitor these and other factors to safely return to in-person instruction as soon as possible. Please continue to practice appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures to combat the spread of the virus.
