Reynolds Elementary had some special visitors to their
school. Veterans from the Reynolds VFW Post 7599 came to RES to recognize
“Loyalty Day “ and “to stand proud to be an American, be respectful to the
flag, and to always show patriotism, no matter where they encounter an American
flag.” The VFW was joined by their Auxiliary to recognize students who
participated in the Patriotic Coloring Contest. The top students from
grades 2-5 were recognized, also, Dr. Julie Ollila, 5 grade
teacher, was recognized for having the most students participating in the
coloring contest.
