In memory of Mr. John W. Lowry, who passed away on July 7, 2018, and in keeping with the family’s wishes, the Reynolds School District is collecting donations in his memory to benefit the Reynolds Canine Fund. Mr. Lowry was instrumental in the formation of the Reynolds K9 Program. Thunder was named after Mr. Lowry’s deceased son’s dog, and Thunder has been a great asset to the district’s anti-drug program and school safety, as well as the safety of the community at large. Mr. Lowry served on the Reynolds School Board for 20 years. He was perhaps the district’s greatest fan and benefactor. In his memory, we seek donations to ensure the continuation of the Reynolds K-9 program long after Thunder reaches his retirement.
